Jubilee Conference Centre, The University of Nottingham
Following a successful series of events in 2017, we’re pleased to be back on the road again in 2018. We kicked off our tour of the UK in London in March and we’ll be hitting Nottingham on 27th June for a morning seminar where we’ll be answering your questions about the Government’s plans to clean up air quality in our cities.
Free spaces are running out fast – sign up today to ensure you don’t miss out on your opportunity to understand the proposed plans and how they will affect your business.
The legislation surrounding the vehicles we operate has undergone a serious revamp in recent years and will continue to evolve as new technology changes the way we travel. Much attention has been given to the introduction of Clean Air Zones in big cities and heavily urbanised areas, many of which are due to begin in 2020.
These plans will impact a large number of road users with the implications being felt particularly strongly among businesses that operate in the affected areas. While the changes may influence the types of vehicles you choose to operate, they will also force wholesale changes in the way we all think about our travel choices and the infrastructure needed to support them.
With such a broad subject, we’ve enlisted the assistance of some key players operating in this space:
- Local bodies will attend to brief you on their plans to implement Clean Air Zones, how their plans relate to policy and infrastructure and which revisions they think will be necessary – Nottingham and Derby City Councils
- Vehicle manufacturers will share the advances they are making and what is coming in the future – Ford UK.
- Infrastructure providers and consultancy experts will also furnish you with practical advice, applications and support on how to implement alternatively fuelled vehicles (AFV's) – Chargemaster, Energy Saving Trust, Lombard Vehicle Solutions
You’ll have the opportunity to put questions to our presenters and learn, first-hand, how these changes will impact you, your business and your employees. You can even stick around after the event to speak one-on-one with our guest speakers so that they can really get into the detail about the changes and what they mean for you.
