Brexit update 


With a trade agreement reached between the UK and EU on 24 December 2020, no tariffs will be applied to new vehicles and parts entering the UK from the EU. However, the agreement stipulates that certain 'Rules of Origin' thresholds must be met for goods imported from the EU to benefit from the agreement's terms. For motor vehicles, these thresholds relate to the proportion of the parts used to make the vehicle that are themselves made inside the UK or EU. Tariffs may still be applied to some new vehicles if a defined minimum percentage of the parts used to manufacture the vehicle do not originate from the UK or EU. We are currently in contact with all manufacturers to establish which vehicles, if any, may be impacted.
